Man, you are more out of tune than your piano! Stay well away from music and leave teaching it to the real experts. You possibly have a future as a B list comedian though.

WTF?? Really….really?? I am going to talk to Expert Village, because I am apparently Dr. Billy Taylor in comparison.

    Latin Jazz?????????????
    I. You should be using more of a jazzy chord progression like a ii V I
II. The chord progression you use was i iv V which in turn is the chord progression to the son montuno.
III. So if you where trying to play Latin jazz that was not acurate at all, and if you where trying to play Son Montuno, you are way out of rhythm.
The only difference from jazz and Latin Jazz is that the rhythm follows the calve, and play some mambo on your right and jazz chords on the left.

with all due respect.. but this is a total missinformation on the subject. Austin Mcbride says that this latin jazz is “less radio friendly in the states and it’s a little bit harder to come by” WOW WRONG FACTS, this music is available everywhere and it plays in the radio everywhere too, SECOND this Austin does not know how to play this style, his syncopation, timming and the use of chords is totally wrong… EXPERTVILLAGE PLEASE GET SOME REAL EXPERTS ON THIS SUBJECT. ** NO DISRESPECT MEANT**
